We recently conducted a short survey asking chiropractors how they were doing in light of coronavirus. Here are the results.
1. How has your income changed in light of coronavirus?
Many chiropractors have felt the negative effects of Covid-19 on their practice. With the majority experiencing a decline in income.
2. Select all of the ways that you've been impacted by Covid-19.
Coronavirus has led to a loss of patients for chiropractors and difficulty attracting new patients. As a result, many chiropractors have felt the pinch between revenue and operating expenses.
3. If you'd like to share, what has been the impact of coronavirus on your practice?
Here are some quotes from chiropractors who felt compelled to share about their experience.
We finished March of 2020 with our best month ever only to drop and average of 12 percent in all aspects of the practice through the first five months of 2020.50% of continuing pts. Almost no new patients for March and April. And the few NPs were less willing to choose continual care. June - looks back to the normal flaw of NPs. Still not all of the previous patients who suspended care, got back on truck. The only downside has been reduced patient flow due to need to book time for cleaning. We are in the heart of a major city. Our entire local economy was shut down and is just starting to get back to normal in June.Stressful and fatiguing because of the protective gear.
