Google My Business is a necessity for successful local marketing, and photos are a key part of building an effective Google My Business profile. Research shows that quality photos increase engagement on your local profile and boost the number of people who visit your website and call for an appointment.
Photos are so important that Google has provided guidelines on the types of images you need to complete your Google My Business listing. Here’s what they suggest:
Photos of Your Office Exterior
These help your patients recognize your office when they’re coming for their first appointment. Google suggests showing multiple angles and taking photos at different times of day.
Interior Photos
At least three photos of the inside of your office. Take some photos of your waiting room, reception desk, and treatment rooms. You want to give patients a sense of what it’s like to visit your office, and so make it as welcoming as possible.
If you have any unique equipment or facilities in your office, include photos of those, as well.
Staff Photos
Patients can have some anxiety about visiting a new chiropractor, and good quality staff photos can make people feel more comfortable and at ease. Get some good photos of your staff at the reception area or helping patients. You’ll want to make sure you get model releases for anybody in the photos that gives explicit permission to use those photos online or on your website.
